Textile Exchange and GOTS organisations drive industry transformation in preferred fibers, integrity and standards, and responsible supply networks.
As consumer awareness of sustainability grows, businesses of all sizes are taking action to drive positive change. Leading global brands are making public commitments and promoting innovation in the use of sustainable materials across their supply chains.
In response, suppliers and manufacturers are seeking to stand out in the global market through independent certification of their materials and sustainability claims.
To support this shift, Textile Exchange and GOTS have developed rigorous standards that help verify sustainability from raw material to finished product—giving both companies and consumers confidence in their claims.
What are the aims of Textile Exchange?
The goal of the Textile Exchange certifications is to drive sustainability both in the textile and non-textile industry and encourage the use of recycled, organic, or preferred materials in products to minimize the harm caused by its production.
What are the aims of GOTS?
To ensure the organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
